CAPE ARGUS NEWSPAPER

AIDS Stats

Campaign objective: To commemorate World AIDS Day on 1 December, the Cape Argus Newspaper wanted to tackle the issue of AIDS in a groundbreaking way.

Creative Concept: Using the page numbers at the top of the newspapers pages, we educated the public on statistics relating to the AIDS pandemic in South Africa. The communication was the first thing readers saw when turning the page, and almost impossible to miss. The statistics were gathered from UNICEF and the South African Department of Health.
