Commercial Strategy Session

Objective:​ Create a concept and visual identity for Novo Nordisk's Commercial Strategy Session - a flagship annual corporate event at which they unveil the business plan for the coming year to VP-level management and above. 

 

Solution: We created a live TV production split into three themed sessions. Each session would be broadcast live on two separate occasions to accommodate global markets in different time zones. We came up with a storyline to bind the sessions into a single coherent event. And we made sure the production was as engaging as possible with short films, animations, playful transition elements and infographics interspersed with panel discussions, dial-in interviews, presentations and live Q&As with the audience. Modelled on an evening magazine TV programme, the whole live production was realised by a team of professional TV technicians led by an experienced TV producer.

Results:​ Based on participant feedback, the combination of visuals, short films, animations and storytelling was successful in delivering on the event’s ambitions in a highly engaging way.

Event Visual Identity

At the heart of our visual identity is a dynamic constellation of dots - each one representing a Novo Nordisk employee, united by purpose. Together, they form a powerful circular motion, radiating focus and direction. This isn’t just design - it’s a symbol of collective action.

Participants could tune in live via the CSS website, experiencing the event in real time, or explore at their own pace with on-demand content, diving deeper into bold commercial strategies that shape the future.

Through the app, participants could unlock exclusive content, join live chats, and take part in real-time polls and quizzes, turning passive viewing into an interactive experience.
